How are You Learning Right Now?

Which year is it for you?

Is it the year you’re considering a new learning experience or a year you’re living one?

Are you considering a new job or career? Thinking about a course or degree? Expecting a child? Considering a move?

Or are you living the answer? Building a business? Writing a book? Living in a new city? Taking care of a child, spouse, or family member?

It’s interesting to think this way about the big learning moments in our lives – the questions we ask (or maybe need to ask) and the answers we choose to live.

What do we learn from the questions? What do we learn from living the answers? When is it time for new questions? How do we know when we’ve been living the answer for longer than we needed?

A few of the questions I’m asking – Am I leveraging all the skills and experience I have to make the biggest impact? Do I still have things to teach? Can I write to effect change?

A few of the answers I’m living – scaling solutions to big problems, living in a new city, rethinking what’s possible, iterating more quickly.

What about you?
